I just bought the Roland 7EX synth and I already have the Nord S4 and I hooked the Nord up VIA MIDI to the Roland and was able to play all 88 notes with German piano sound! How neat!

Extremely well explained. For all the buttons and knobs on the Nord Stage 4, it is quite simple to use. Feels way more approachable than workstations to do the same thing (like layering).

Currently playing worship on a Motif 8. My new Stage 4 should be delivered this week. These tutorials are so much appreciated, both in becoming at home with the layout, but also your musicianship. I'm beginning to feel like I already have a sense of the instrument. Can't wait to feel the action.

I absolutely love the look of this board - thank you for the video which has helped explain many things before I go instore to try one out. I use my current (very old) Yamaha S90ES for Music Theatre performances for which I'm sure the Nord Stage 4 will be fantastic. However, I also use my keyboard for arrangements on my 32-track recorder, and frequently use drum kit sounds built in to the S90ES - does the Nord Stage 4 have any drum kit sounds built in. Whilst I appreciate the ethos that putting drum kit presets on to a stage piano might be sacrilege to some, it is something I am looking for to continue my recording work. If there aren't any drum kits built it, can you suggest an alternative way forward using this keyboard? Thank you again for your superb video!

hi. I've been subscribed to your channel for a long time. Your lessons are amazing. I watch every new video. Let me ask you a question. Now i want to set up a studio in my room. There will be a computer, an external sound card and a Nord Stage 4. Could you advise me on the best way to place these elements on the table so that I can play the instrument and hear it from the monitors, and also record what I play on the computer. The question is more about the placement of the Nord Stage. If you put it in front of the computer, there is little space to work on the table, if you move it to the side, the monitors (speakers) are very off to the side. Please advise me on the best way to make such an arrangement

Why is my Stage 4 slightly different? For example, on the left, my Rotary Speaker dial is on top and the Organ button is below (opposite of your layout). And I have a shift option for Close Mic on the Organ button. And on the Layer Effects, no gray on/off button on top of the left row. Just the 3 black buttons and the shift below that.

Nord stage 4 is the best stage piano/synth. I think nord need to increase(improve) their screen. Its way too small. Netherless, its the best board undeniably
