World Refugee Day 2018 Webinar : Youth Involvement
Показать описание
World Refugee Day is commemorated on the 20th of June every year. As IFMSA we conduct international campaigns to raise awareness regarding refugee rights and to celebrate the strength they have, showing #IFMSAstandsWithRefugees.
A great aim of our campaign is to mobilize our members in order to achieve what we have mentioned above, therefore we have created this webinar focused on "Youth Involvement".
In our webinar, we'll tell you more about the campaign we have conducted, we'll have members who will tell you about their experiences and externals who will discuss the involvement of youth.
1) Our speakers:📢📢
Our lovely externals:
Mr. Nick Sore from UNHCR will tell us about why the refugee issue is a youth issue, the impact of youth involvement and how can we get involved.
Dr. Hatem Alaa Marzouk, will tell us about his Pre-MM18 Workshop: Refugees’ Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (RMHPSS).
Amazing, right? But there is more than our externals, we couldn’t think of a webinar on member involvement without our very own members! Here they are:
İdil Kına(me), SCORP General Assistant and WRD 2018 SWG coordinator, will tell us about the process and outcomes of the campaign and share its highlights with us.
John Ebong, Dignified and Non-Discriminatory Healthcare Program Coordinator will talk about IFMSA Programs,
Emma Lengle from NMSA Norway will tell us about their Project MedHum and how they are working for refugees through the project.
Maria Krayem from bvmd Germany will share her personal experiences in several projects she has worked with/for refugees.
