Carrying out more work in less time - with consistently high quality: the operation of the APT 1500 RC rail welding robot in Georgia, proves that we have met this challenge SUCCESSFULLY over and over again.

1,200 defective welded joints on a track section of 25 kilometres: the APT 1500 RC welding robot demonstrates its strengths on the main line of the Georgian Railway between the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea.

The welding head and all auxiliary units are housed in a standard container which is transported here using a flat-bed trailer.

Thanks to the fully automatic working principle, there is no need to manually align the rail ends, which often is a difficult and time consuming task.

As the clamping jaws are carefully designed, it is no longer necessary to grind off the rolling marks on the rail web.

This considerably increases the working output achieved per shift.
