Oeta (Οίτη), Greece - Pyra Heracleous, Katavothra, Pavliani

A wee Christmas adventure to mount Oeta. The starting point of the route is about 2-3 km away from Kato Pavliani heading to Kaloskopi. The first sight is Pyra Heracleous at the altitude of about 1800 m with an amazing view of the surounding area. Another sight worth visiting is Katavothra cave in which water falls and disapears into the ground.. Rumor has it that a giant monster lives in the cave so if you dare, step inside! Enjoy!!
