I guess you couldn't use it, since it hasn't been animated yet, but...
Sosuke Aizen versus Yhwach was far and away the most hyped I've ever been for a fight. And it had him teaming up with Ichigo of all people. The whole fight was really short, but I'm hoping the anime adaptation gives it more time to breathe.

A shame that it will probably never get animated but... the fight between Mashiba Ryo VS Sawamura Ryuuhei in Hajime no Ippo. Brutal and bloody AF.

Big mom vs kaido was a good power demonstration but it barely scratched the surface the very level yonkos are at
Oda decided to use rooftop battles to demonstrate what monstrosity yonkos really are
Man it's a unbelievable time to be a one piece fan right now with each and every chapter delivering what we all wanted

6:51 I LOVE how the Animators took the Time to include the CLEAR difference in Speed Between Sonic and The DSK 🔥🔥... RIGHT AFTER They show King accelerate toward Sonic so fast that the Rain is barely moving at all you can see how WHILE King is Still approaching Sonic, he clearly can see and React to that Level of Speed with little to no effort based on the fact he just STANDS there assessing & waiting till he gets Closer on purpose while King is CLEARLY still locked in motion and THEN he Crouches and literally disappears last second and even had the King kinda shook based on the Face he made when he was looking up at Sonic after seemingly losing some confidence after those 3 EASY Victories he just Stole from Stinger, Max and Puri Puri 💯😂😂😂😂

Instant like for Kirei vs Zouken being on the list, easily my favorite villain vs villain moment across the Zero/Stay Night stuff!

Greed vs Wrath was superb imo. Also, I never quite shook the feeling that Greed might end up turning it around on us, making us look like fools for ever having semi-trusted him.

There is also an argument to be made for Death Note, although it likely would not make this list, for the antagonist of the series would likely be L - the villain will always be Light.
It's a fresh perspective one does not see enough of. And I know, villain vs antagonist is not QUITE the same but it still has a place in my heart.

Yea that whole My Hero Academia episode was dope, we keep seeing deku and the young heroes improve, it was crazy to see the villains improve and better yet set it up so that we root for them to win!

I've watched every single thing on this list and Risotto vs Doppio is still top 1 to me,
not just because of how ridiculous Jojo fights are to begin with,
but also because how much it would've changed the part 5
had it gone the other way.

The results of that match is immediately felt like a stack of dominoes
and it still hits me every time I watch it.

Maybe Hisoka vs Chrollo could be a contender if it ever is animated.
But we haven't seen how much that fight will impact the story
moving forward so the jury's still out for that IMO.
