I’ve had dogs before, but they were more of family dogs, when I lived with my mom and sister. I now live alone and was given a beagle puppy for my bday last year. I kinda didn’t even want a dog, but I am happy to have him now lol. He is super smart. This video pretty much describes him. I would agree that they are good for first time dog owners. I hear all these beagle owners saying that beagles get fat because they love food so much. My Riley is not. She will frequently not eat all of her food and save it for later. Which I'm okay with, it just makes me laugh that she's not typical. 😅
