Asian Women Empowered: Entrepreneurs

October 12, 2021 — Start-up founders and investors Holly Liu, Kat Mañalac, Sandra Oh Lin, and Pocket Sun discuss their personal journeys in tech and their thoughts on the future of the industry in a panel discussion entitled “Asian Women Empowered: Entrepreneurs.” The panelists also shared their perspective on the importance of supporting other female and female-led companies, giving back to the community, and finding their purpose. They were joined by moderator Katie Soo, co-chair of Asia Society Southern California, global trustee of Asia Society, and co-chair of Asian Women Empowered (AWE). This conversation between Asian women in tech was convened as part of the launch of AWE, a new initiative from Asia Society Southern California honoring the power and potential of women of Asian descent.
