Lisa Bluder was head coach at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa in the late 80's and 90's before Iowa. Amazing the stardom she has now!

Dad received his post graduate diploma from Iowa. I taught school, and coached girls basketball this was 3 on 3 ( 3 offensive players & 3 defensive players). The varisty head coach, and I procured a school bus, we took our teams to Iowa City to watch the Iowa women's basketball team, the team at that time was coached by C.Vivian Stringer, our girls just loved that night and wanted to do it again, we got our tickets for free, we had connections. Mom grew up 25 miles West in the town of Williamsburg, her mother ( Grandmother ) taught Kintergarten for over 40 years in Williamsburg. We ( Reed Family ) did our tours in Monticello & Fairfield. Dad was at Parsons College. My cousin Dr. Rhys Jones taught in the school of Denistry. So I have Iowa connections.

OMG Coach Bluder ran incredible Offensive plays and their defence was also good. This team had insane Chemistry that it was palpable to the whole audience.

I'm not from Iowa, but I saw a video of a Dowling Catholic game where her team lost to a team I think was South East Polk, or something like that. How was that possible? I had the impression that she never lost a game in HIgh School. Can you imagine the girls on that team telling their grandkids some day that they beat Caitlin Clark's team in High School? They could make a movie about it. LOL!
