Today I realised something, Lefty isn't £5 because he has a high liability. He's £5 because Henry desperately wants his daughter inside the building when it burns, so he sells Lefty for £5 as an easy way to get them inside the restaurant.

My sister (who was 8 at the time) when playing the game bought Lefty because she was cheap, and also she thought she was cute. Anyway, she didn't realise you could get jumpscared because she rejected all the other animatronics from entering the restaurant. One very risky playthrough of the night later, and my sister no longer wanted to have Lefty in her restaurant

The other three hide in specific items to buy while Lefty is like "Hey you! Buy me! Ignore the 9 Liability, I promise I won't cause trouble. Plus, I'm $5! Isn't that a bargain?"

I wonder who did buy him and who didn't but didn’t connect the dots following he salvage.
