That was very informative. Still subtitles and captions seem very close, i think in my language (German) we dont even have two words for it. If i were to create german subtitles in the Closed Caption format for this video, they would be subtitles as well as closed caption, right? Because captions only describes the format?

I am getting YouTube closed captioning but it is dark green letters on a black background and it is very hard for me to read. Wish the letters could be white. I can't find a place to change this.

Closed caprions are ofter incorrect and lagging ....not very effective for the deaf . Open captions lots better for the deaf.
