did a video overlay on capcut with a solid photo background. When I play to preview it the original background wants to keep coming through, and it messes up the background. How do I fix this?

Not too sure but I think "Splice" is now "blend"

This is background removal, the title is misleading. I want to make a video on top of a video transparent, rather than to remove a portion of that video. Imagine a 2D hologram, or simpy a see-through picture: it is not partially removed, you still see the photo but also through it.

There is no “splice” option. The closest is “blend” and even with a black background, any filter like awful. (not that you reply to anyone)
