Around 100 elephants rescued from floods in northern Thailand

100 elephants have been rescued in northern Thailand after flash floods swept through a popular sanctuary.

Footage shows the animals making their way through belly-deep water before finding shelter on a nearby mountain.

Park owners are working to free a handful of elephants which remain trapped.
