This first Java tutorial is for the people who have no skills in programming at all. This will teach the beginners over the basic syntax in the Java language. This also covers how to compile with the Command Prompt, (CMD).

@BlackIceGAMINGprod Try to look for your folder where you have saved your file. Once you have found it, look at path it's in. Then use that exact path into the CMD. If it's saved in the other drive, for example, the "E" drive, type in e: and you'll be in the "E" drive.

@Guitargasm17 I've used notepad++ so people would know the core things about writing codes on a text editor and the compilation on the CMD.


You are right about eclipse and I've started to use it. You should be able to see the latest tutorials from me when I was working with eclipse.

this looks to me as though you are going by the Blue Pelican Handbook on coding, simply because this was the first thing they had you do in the handbook

Why not use Eclipse? Its much easier to use and much more professional. It automatically puts in the things you need to put in the beginning reducing much of the time needed to code. And you're able to run programs right in the application without having to close it.
