My fiancé and I are both 16 months sober and it wouldn’t be possible without God. We brought God into our relationship during our addiction and it wasn’t long before he opened the door for us to get into treatment and begin our new lives clean. We went from living on the streets chasing our addiction to having a roof over our heads. We’ve been to hold the same jobs for over a year and advance to management with our companies. We have been blessed to get to honor God and get married a month from today. We will get to remember the day we share our love with our family and friends in Gods presence. We are moving into a new home this week and none of it would be possible without Gods Grace and Mercy. I hope we are able to continue to share our testimony with others and hopefully help others who are still suffering.

Trauma and disappointment from your past remind you mentally and emotionally about our lack and dysfunction but God is our resource who is present at all times and reminds us of who are true selves are. He can sit with us in our difficulty and remind us of who we are and give us the confidence to move forward when the darkness is over.
