At first I was the most excited for Classic Beastman, but seeing this He-Man was a punch in the gut. The old excitement that I got when I'd see these in store swept over me. I'm with you, I hope this ends up being the best MotU line Mattel puts forth. I doubt we'll dive as deep as Classics did, but just having various takes on my favorites is pretty cool too.

Watched a few update vids on this he-man reveal and nobody noticed or talked about how the upper torso is bigger on this figure compared to the revelation one. Glad you noticed it like I did, people must be blind to miss that, aesthetically this looks so much better, the way he should look, big and bulky like you said. Can’t wait to see it in hand or an early review of it.

So excited to get this figure, just not been able to part with the cash for masterverse, but this guy will look great with my vintage and origins. Great for photography as most of my collection is 7 inch.

Loving all the announcements. There are some tweaks to the new masterverse buck that I would like to see. Changing the thigh swivel to something like the classics so it's more seamless and me personally would get rid of the double jointed knees for better sculpted knees and get rid of that slapping hand for something that's more dynamic. That said I am enjoying some of the figures and this he-man is a must have really excited. But I will keep my fingers crossed for snake mountain or eternia.

I'll admit I was expecting a playset of some kind, which would have been a pass as I'm not interested in those, but this is definitely a day one purchase for me. Though I do hope this is not an exclusive, as you said. Getting figures and collectables in the UK is frustrating enough as it is without needing to jump through further hoops because it's Target or Walmart exclusive in the US.

As someone who missed out on Classics, I am also hopefully they'll continue doing figures like this in the line. I'd personally really like to see how Skeletor and Faker look in this style, and possibly expand beyond that like Classics did. I'm keen to get the 200X He-Man figure in Origins, but I'd also be curious in how an "Accurate to the 200X He-Man figure" Masterverse figure (for example) would look.

Looks great. ...*Cool* impressed me more than *Big* anyway, especially in the context of this week's Reveals. Snake Mountain would've been fine, but that Battle Amor He-Man from yesterday would have stood out more to me. Snake Mountain would've just been confirmation that something is coming out that is expected to come out that you already would've thought was out but you know it's not out but when it comes out you probably already knew what you were getting when it came out. Maybe Filmation Snake Mountain would have been a twist to shake things up.

He-Man looks incredible! Of this sized figure, yes, I think he looks the best. For the 5.5s my pick is Super 7's, he looks like he literally walked out of the cartoon. What a week!

I want to be clear, this is a great figure and is probably something I’m going to get when the time comes. However, purely looking at this “final” reveal from the perspective of building up hype for something huge in the final announcement… this was a shitty and disappointing way to finish. Honestly, this should have been a separate announcement all by itself, and not the last in a series of 5 that seemed to get better and better each day. Very anticlimactic, in that sense. Especially considering a Masterverse “Anniversary” figure was leaked quite a while ago.

Let me start with this opening statement : This is definitely a welcome edition to my Masters collection.. or should I say, 'our collection', since this concerns all Heman fans. Yes. Mattel is really on the money with this line so far eventhough they started out kinda weak especially with the figures torsos ( And I'm certainly on the same page with you there when you mentioned in the Masterverse line, Heman's torso is too slender and it does not fit for a character that is dubbed as the most popular man in the universe. Even in the Revelation animation, they made it distinct and apparent that Heman's physique is clearly big and powerful-looking and he stands out from the rest of the characters in the show in terms of his physical appearance). That has been my most disappointment with the Masterverse line so far, that is, the lanky and slender torsos that they gave their figures ( again, especially Heman's). So I hope going forward with line, I expect and hope to see it get better and better, and I am already seeing some good signs showing in this particular figure, which is the 40th Anniversary edition ( although I am still critical of some features that I'm seeing right now but that's just me nitpicking and also, I know that it's too early to pinpoint anything right now at this stage, right? We'll just have to wait and see).

I think your dreaming if you think Master-verse can over take Classic. When we got classic, to me, I signed up for every subscription to get every figure, beast, vehicle and playset possible. It was a dream. Right of the go, I’ve only now started to get into masters verse and that’s only because of this figure, Man-at-arms and classic teela and beast mans reveals. The line has too many wholes already
