Have you ever been in the midst of enjoying your favourite frozen treat, only to have to stop because you feel like there’s a construction worker drilling inside your brain? That, friends, is a little phenomenon called “brain freeze.” Don’t worry, it’s fairly common, and unfortunately linked to the consumption of deliciously cold food stuffs like ice cream, slushies, and popsicles. Fortunately it’s not that serious, and there ARE ways to stop it from happening, and even cure it once it IS happening...and we’ll tell you all about them in this video!

I have found that quickly throwing my head back or forward instantly undoes the brain freeze. I think this works because it momentarily drains a bit of blood from your brain. Also makes you slightly dizzy for a second but that is certainly preferable to the agony of a brain freeze.
