Nobody likes to lose matches. But, mind you, the opposite of losing a match is not necessarily winning, but actually playing a good game of football. It's about fighting hard and playing with a great team spirit, and Iran did that really well tonight. Iran are tactically solid, and if you ask me, Carlos Queiroz's Iranian team are the best tacticians in football right now - Spain would definitely not be able to play as tactically well as Iran do because it requires so much resilience and tactical positioning. And even though Spain are a good side, they are actually very boring to watch as they rarely ever use the long ball. However, the thing I don't understand with FIFA is that the VAR is used inconsistently - when England played Tunisia and Harry Kane was pulled down in the box twice and should have had two penalties, they never once checked the VAR, but for Iran, they were so quick to check whether it was offside.. Oh well.. Well played Iran!!
