Many high profile clients in San Francisco and Silicon Valley use this workflow, and love it.

The “old” way is much easier, especially when you use an AAF. The AAF will retain all the resizes, time warps, transitions, etc. I honestly don’t get why people decide to use XML over AAF. It just makes no sense. You don’t need to remove the attributes to the video clips.

Also, why would you output the media FROM COLOR into the SAME folder you placed the media FOR COLOR. That’s just asking for a disaster as someone can overwrite without knowing.

Goddamn, I wish I was on while this was live to call this out. I’m sorry but this was really done really half-assed. There’s so much information you missed that you could’ve spent 5-10 mins to explain. There’s so much more I want to say about this but, I’ll just keep to myself for now.

Please, if you’re going to do a workflow video, EXPLAIN the actual workflow.
My biggest pet peeve are workflow videos that have so much information missing regarding the actual workflow. 😑👈
