NEW Sets at the Store August 2024

Today I head went to the LEGO store to check out over 70 new releases! In addition to the new sets LEGO was also offering the Micro Rocket Launchpad gift with purchase for free! Not bad at all. There were new sets in essentially every theme: Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Technic, City, and more. Join me as I check it all out and make a decent purchase.

Sadly, the terms and conditions of the Micro Rocket Launchpad exclude the McLaren P1 (42172). I purchased the P1 yesterday and didn't understand why the rocket wasn't showing up in the cart. Then, I read the TOC. :(

I think once a week you should build a set from the backlog. I kind of miss those intensive reviews. I like to see new parts. I am a Bricklink seller so that helps me when I come across something I haven't seen before. Love the shopping and the new release stuff too.

Such a great video!!! Hope you grabbed everything you were out to get! 🎉😊 we saw the Barad Dur on display at the LEGO store in Iowa and we all sort of sat and stared at it for a while in shock and awe 😂 we can’t wait!!!

Hope everyone got the sets they wanted! I ended up getting the Milano! What’s crazy is that when my Lego Store opened, everyone was rushing over to the Marvel section picking up the Milano. I picked my copy up and asked my Lego worker how many they got. He said they only got 4 in stock!! That’s crazy only 4!! I’m glad I got one!! It sold out within a couple of minutes!

Great seeing the sets in the store setting, it is much better than searching online. Online just doesn't do some sets justice. I have purchased sets just because of how they were displayed in the store whereas I would have passed had I not seen them in person. Great review.. be safe and well!

Went to store aug 1 for the Team Emirates AC boat but walked out with the boat and the P1.

Never seen such a mess of sets at a Lego store before. All the boxes on their sides not even displaying what they are is quite interesting

I live in the SW area of Edmonton...so I usually go to Southgate LEGO Store. I only picked up the SPEED CHAMPIONS Ferrari F40. I'm a huge SC fan...and really love LEGO CITY and CREATOR sets too.

Good haul Bricksie, but I guess you’re too young to know how iconic the moon rover was as part of the Apollo space program. To see the astronauts driving on another celestial landscape was amazing!

We have a Lego store in Virginia Beach, which is great. However, its TINY. Like, 20ft wide and 30ft deep. I look at this one and am very jealous.
