In this first episode of my new series Quick Tips For Helix, I look at what I feel can be one of the most powerful and often overlooked parameters when setting up reverb, the pre-delay setting. In this series I am going to do very short, concise videos on a very specific topic to hopefully help people get the most from their Helix and dial in great tones. Good stuff with all the options that come with the helix. It's easy to suffer from parameter overload.
But they are important, and this is an excellent example of that.

Great stuff jason. I use the glitz reverb. Im going to try the 200ms predelay. Im using 106ms right now. 19% mix. Also run the reverb into the dual delay 375ms and 500ms. 22% mix on both delays. And that goes into a simple delay. 30ms 0 feedback and 100% mix. Im running effects parallel path in series. Im using spillover preset so only path A. Otherwise i would parallel all the effects.

For perspective, sound will travel 20 feet in 17.9 ms, and 100 feet in 89.3 ms.
