I've been in the trade since 2005 and studied it in college two years prior to that. You'll NEVER stop learning new things out of the NEC Codebook/Handbook.

Thank you Mike! I starting to study now after many years of confusion which I don't even want to look at. These terms you mentioned "Within sight, continuous load, it should be readily accessible" are a few of too many that made me confused.

For NEC2020, and new construction does smoke /CM detectors have to be hardwired for rough-in? building a new house and would rather have wireless interconnected that is tied in with alarm system.

I’m a sound and comm tech apprentice and I recently received all my books including applied codeology and nec, wac, electrical theory. What’s the best way to get to learning how to find information fast and how to understand the nec and wac Im in Washington.
