I don't understand why Mueller would see the need to bend over backward in fairness to Donald Trump; a man whose life would be the definition of unfairness.

Trump often asks his aids to do things that are impossible, just so he can berate and belittle them. It's a form of gas lightening and abuse. But also to sxaee who's still loyal and how far he can push someone. So when he asks for things he can do himself he wants to know how much of a good dog you are.

He once told an architect to not put braille on the buttons in the elevators of his building. Which is illegal.
He had a full out tantrum when the architect declined the order.
