The Arithmetic of Matrices

The videos on this site were initiated in 2018, beginning with the 6-8 grade curriculum. Since then, Open Up Resources has developed a high school curriculum which provides the content for this current playlist. The intent is not to provide answers for students, but to instead provide a resource for students to check their thinking and confirm their understanding so they can come prepared for the next lesson with good questions. While "homework" solutions are often provided, students are encouraged to work on the solutions prior to reviewing the videos. Students frequently miss class for a variety of reasons (illness, school activities, athletic competitions), so the hope is that these videos serve to keep kids on track with their math course.
