JHS Notaklon - I WAITED 5 MONTHS FOR THIS…

Lets build a Klon pedal with JHS Notaklon! The first one I bought didn't work and after months of waiting for the second one to arrive, I'm finally ready to try it AGAIN! So lets go! Spoiler alert, this one works! It's a very cool pedal and I got very usable tones quickly. Let me know what you think!

I got this for the great marketing and the way Josh got around his promise. But I think it’s great alone and stacks well with another OD I have on the board, so it lives there now. Have to find an appropriate sticker for it.

I bought the NOTAKLON, I had to wait about 3 weeks I suppose, and that was delivery to Australia. Totally worth it, and one of the best sounding pedals I have. Just remember - it's not a Klon - till you build it.

Josh from JHS said he'd never build another Klon clone and sell it, so he made this that's "not a Klon until you build it." Gimmicky, sure, but it's a hell of a pedal for the money. I waited months for mine as well. Glad mine worked because I use it constantly.

I gotta mess with mine again. The directions stated to Goop and sit for 24hours after adding that mess. So I did. Last night was my first night plugging it in. But I think I've got way more noise than I should and it could have been I was on a different electrical circuit than my amp was. So going to try it tonight on the same circuit of AC as the amp to see if that changes it.
Josh was stating you could use it as a gained up push on a distorted channel of an amp head. I cheated a little, just to test and ran it into a Boss Katana 100 MK2 Head on top of the Brown Sound channel. I want to try it again, because it was horrible with noise so bad it was killing the guitar. Plus I want to try it on my GM40D and my Mesa Triple Rec.

Built mine yesterday and it just doesn't power up. Sucks because I'm in europe and have to pay customs on almost everything :(

Try swapping the ribbon of the good one over to the defective one. Worth a try.

Wow he just pegged the 65 reverb and that got that sound yeah for the money this pedal sounds sweet.
