I owned, and flew a 1966 Cessna 172G Skyhawk from 1997 until 2010. A great, essentially foolproof airplane. It had a much better useful load than current varieties .

Pilot on a 172, got to right seat in a 727, back in the 70's and a dead-head back to base... a real thrill!

Very fortunate to have flown on the 727 back in 1999. I've also flown on the 320, 737 and the CRJ. The DC3 is definitely on my bucket list.

The basic Douglas DC-9 design (DC-9, MD-80, MD-90, 717) had a greater number of total aircraft built than two of the examples mentioned in the video - the CRJ and 777.

The train shot is funny . . . I live in Seattle and I bike to work downtown. The path is right next to the rail line. So I constantly see 737 fuselages passing by me on the train tracks, it's amazing how Boeing rails and flies around huge prefabricated parts as part of the assembly process.
