For wildland fire we use mystery ranch packs, they carry everything for at least a 3 week spike. I use it for my marches and spikes all the time.

We always take an extra weapon at smaller games in case 1 tanks on you. I'm curious as to why that wouldn't be even more important at a massive event?

Milsim west was super fun, but also super exhausting, I had to carry 8 magazines with my kwa lm4 build, with one in the gun ofc, and 4 mags with my Sai blu, along with me being the food prep guy, so I also had to carry the meal ready bucket and all the water and Gatorade powder, one guy was dedicated for the chairs and ammo, and man I felt bad for that guy, almost 90 lbs on his back and that day he cracked the housing on his dual nods setup

People take one pack attached to a sligthly bigger one in the case of them having to quickly get away and ditch the larger one

Fyi dont put your heavy shit on top been hiking for years now you want to do medium right on your hips, heavy close to body and in the middle of the pack right behind that you want light stuff and on top of those you want another layer of medium and light on the brain of the pack

I'm interested in why for rocking it's always recommended. Weight should be close to your body up high while in backpacking. You are supposed to keep the weight to your body and low. I understand accessing things like ammunition quickly, but for airsoft that's not really a problem because the BBS don't weigh as much as real ammunition.
