SIR Anthony Hopkins admitted he hadn't expected to win the best actor gong at last night's Oscars.
The 83-year-old made history by becoming the oldest man ever to win the honour for his turn in The Father.
He beat the late Chadwick Boseman to the prize, with the Ma Rainey's Black Bottom actor having been heavily tipped to win.
Taking to Instagram this morning from the sun-drenched Welsh countryside, Anthony paid tribute to the star, who died last August after a secret cancer battle.
In a rare move, the Academy handed out the Best Actor award last instead of Best Picture as it was widely expected Chadwick Boseman would receive a posthumous Oscar - but instead Hopkins scooped a surprise win.
Daniel Kaluuya, born in Camden, London to Ugandan parents, was recognized for his portrayal of Black Panther leader Fred Hampton in Judas And The Black Messiah.
The 32-year-old won best supporting actor early in the ceremony.
The Londoner also created one of the most viral moments of the night when he made a sex joke about his parents.
ZENDAYA had heads turning during the 2021 Oscars as she stunned in $6million worth of yellow diamonds and an outstanding Valentino gown.
The multi-talented actress looked phenomenal in her award-show attire, stopping cameras in their tracks.
