This shot is literally cinema history.

Appart from being ultra iconic and the starting point of aesthetic use of slow mo and crazy angle pannings in posterior action movies. The whole tech behind this shot and complexity of it, is really interesting and impressive a sign of the practical effects cinema reaching it's limits.

Young people may not have an idea on how cutting edge and revolutionary this scene was in 1999. I remember how awe I was when I first saw this scene in cinema, htf did they do that. It became so iconic that shows and adverts were imitating the scene.
