This really works! I did my fence. One part of the fence had old, 3 layers of paint so I had to reapply. The newest 1st layer of paint came off like butter with my garden hose. The other layers came off with the help of a pressure washer. If we didnt have that, then we would have to reapply. But it worked!! It was a time saver for me. Thanks, Berh!! Btw, don’t forget to shake it. If you dont, it comes out as liquid at first.

I am professional Log Home Repairman.
I use this all the time. Brush on liberally and let sit for 5 min. Then my pressure washer will wash of all stain of log homes.(3100psi)
Then I follow up by using a Osborn Brush on the entire house.. Osborn Brush Works great at removing all burrs and roughness on logs. I have used Behr Stripper many times and always pressure washed off the stain off logs easily!

I think the efficacy must depend a lot on what kind of old stain or finish you're dealing with. I found it worked really well on some old garden boxes that had (I think?) been spray painted with a reddish stain. Painted on the stripping chemical, kept it damp with hose misting, and then scrubbed the heck out of it and the red came right up and out. Messy, but effective. But I'm trying now to use it on old worn away deck boards that have paint remnants from long ago, and that stuff just does not want to come off, the stripping agent barely seems to touch it. Maybe there's somethign I'm doing wrong or I'm not letting it sit long enough, but for what it costs(!) I had hoped for better. Ah well, needed to sand anyway.

Is there any other alternative to pump spraying, if I can use a roller/brush to apply the wood cleaner.

Worked for me removing Sansin stain from cedar tongue-n-groove. I don’t know if this product is supposed to remove paint. If trying to remove paint not stain, maybe try Dumont smart strip or similar - it works for paints but not stain.

I've been working on my deck with the behr deck stripper. I thing its trash. I've applied it very liberally let sit for 30 min. Went to brush it and didnt see much of the old paint coming up. Hosed it, and still not much coming up. Complete waist

Bought this to remove Behr Deck over that started peeling after the first year! Followed directions to the T and nothing. Didn't work at all. My trust in Behr products is down the drain.

Even after reading the comments here I still, stupidly, bought this product. I watched all the videos, thoroughly read the directions and it did not work for me. And exposed myself and yard to such nasty chemicals for nothing.

Trash. The video says to use a pump sprayer and the instructions on the product say not to because it's too thick and will clog the sprayer. They don't even follow their own instructions and the trash product doesn't work.

Does not work as advertised, barely removes anything. Need multiple coats, time consuming and expensive at $30/bottle. Not recommending this product at all
