Great notes. Hadn't realized that I specifically rarely will do a rising fast arpeggio on the actual root chord that I'm accenting. It's always the voicing for the chord--the seasoning, the unique flavor that I went with, that gets extended rather than the root! Thank you.

When you played that 4 note voicing on the four octaves, it sounded very similar to Zelda Breath of the Wild music!

A root position arpeggio does not sound lame, my friend. It all depends on context.

How great Jeremy, that you're featured on Open Studios! I always loved your teaching content! Thanks for this tip, I was looking for tips for ballads.

Instructions clear. I bought a Nintendo Wii and spawned into a Super Mario level.

Why in this context would you refer to the A in the chord as the 13 as opposed to the 6th? Is it just a result of it being below the root?

The add9 arrpegio, though not as jazzy, sounds great depending on context

It's kind of the same thing, just with a fuller chord.

My major confusion has always been fingering...for instance, the way I normally finger this chord is with fingers 1235. So is this the same fingering to use arpeggiating up the keyboard? Traditional books mostly only show 3 note arpeggios with the exception of dominant chords and according to them, those are arpeggiated with fingers 1234. I guess in order to use the thumb under but I find it more difficult than 1235 and yet my accuracy is slightly off using 1235. Can anyone shed a little light on this? Thanks

Thought he was gonna say split the hands. For example

LH: Bb+Ab
RH: B + D + E + G

Basically an Em7 over a Bb7 shell. Repeat up the octave

Someone to help me with the notes and fingering of this arpeggio runs. What notes and separate fingering forms part of this arpeggio.
Thank you.

I like the "third thirteen" because 3 certainly has got nothing to do with 13 (or 1, 3), but could easily be named 8. As a beginner I feel enabled to wonder about the 8 definitely being no nine. "Ja" - Yeah.

That voicing sounded like something Rick wakemen would play
