Copying and pasting content from one folder to another is not what I was looking for. A more permanent solution to my problem would be knowing how to change the default folder for such tasks. If not, I think you will be constantly going to your downloads folder to bring those files back to the desktop. I am not sure I understand how that saves work-time or improves organization.

Luke if your still around, I saw online the other day where someone had their desktop icons in what appears to be file folders. do you know how to do this? you know the file folders that go into a file cabinet. I thought it was very neat, where I could organize my icons so that I have my antivirus and things like that in one and just odd and ends in another and so on.
