I always imagined that their unseen similarities were what drew them together.
- Both have younger siblings which for one reason or another, have to be hidden from the public eye. (Lux being a mage and Cassiopeia being a monster)
- Both have well known parental figures I. Their life (Garen’s Aunt and Katarina’s Father) they desperately seek approval from.
- Both love their nations with all their hearts but feel conflicted over them for a some reason. (Garen unsure how to feel about the persecution of mages and Katarina still frustrated by her banishment).
