High Flying Great White Shark Leaps From Water Stealing Fishermen's Catch

A group of charter boat fishermen aboard the Stunmai II in Cape Cod Bay, Massachusetts, hooked a bit more than they bargained for as a great white shark leapt from the water, snapping up their catch.

Fishermen on two of the Stunmai’s charters dropped lines in the water hoping to reel in striped bass, but were surprised to see two great white sharks get to their catches before they could.

Shark sightings are not unusual in this region, according to a post the uploader made to Facebook where they claimed that sightings often happen at least once per day, if not more.

Being a long time Capt. I can tell you one thing if I'm fishing for anything other than shark I would never throw the remains back overboard. All your doing is attracting more sharks. Better off just leaving the area and finding fish somewhere else.
