As a Canadian I say congrats to our neighbours for the bronze medal win. You guys played to win and we played to lose. You guys played a clean game, and we played dirty causing too many penalties which was our downfall. Was it just me or did both teams seem like when they were playing they didn't care? Both of us f****d up this tournment.

Didn't even have that US/Canada rivalry feel to it because we were both pissed about settling for bronze... the medal may as well have been made out of scrap aluminum.

Canada had so many young players that played in the IIHF for the first time! The real team Canada with, Crosby, Stamkos, Price and the other amazing players that couldn't compete because of the playoffs, would've pulverize this tournament. Believe that!
And also, Hockey results can be so different: Sweden beat USA 6-0 WTF!

There’s a lot of factors at play, but it’s notable that sid never captained a team canada side that didn’t medal. straight gold every time. that’s an all timer, mac has a ways to go no matter how many hart trophies he wins

Pretty lackluster by the Canadians. Terrible goaltending and D all tournament. Not disciplined at all, they had 8 penalties - 6 in a row. That should not happen on any team, especially with the skill and experience many Canadian players have on this roster. Better team won.
