Watch this video to learn about Methods of Residuals. Oral drugs must be absorbed, unlike IV drugs. We can model the drug concentrations as a function of time by taking the absorption rate and the elimination rate into account. However, we don’t usually know these rates without experiments. The method of residuals allows us to estimate these rates from graphed concentration data. Watch this video to work through a case scenario with us.

When t = 0, should you get c =20? Now your equation gives 30. Does residual mean to subtract B stuff from the total concentration to get the A stuff?
