Gender Equality in Science and Innovation

Since the 1970s, Switzerland and the US have both greatly increased female participation in the leading sectors of their economies. In the areas of education, research, and innovation, there is still much work to be done in designing systems that promote equity. Swiss State Secretary Martina Hirayama and Harvard Professor Iris Bohnet discuss strategies and lessons from both countries to further promote the success of women in our economies and societies.
