I tried and broke mine 😃 Which is cool since now I don't struggle with a choice between to buy or not to buy a new better one. Non chinese of course because their bloody politics.

We had one of these fail - easy enough to open with a nail to get the screen off - which probably explains how water got in. The screen ribbon connector had corroded, which would have been fixable, but the connector was brittle and had cracked too - so for the bin sadly. Best of luck with yours.

Can i ask when i blow the mi band 4 screen with my mouth i see the screen turning white then back normal after few sec and also my mi band 4 have many dust stucked in edge of screen only visible if i use flash light, my question it is still water ressist?

On my Mi band 5 the screen came off on its own after I changed the strap with another from an older model (probably the Mi band 4) ... it was different (thicker) and it pushed it out ... can the screen be stuck again? ... the screen is working and it is not seem to have suffered any other damage. Can you help pleaze what kind of glue to use?

hello, i have the mi band 4, but i think it is to thick, and i dont like the heartrate sensor touching my arm, I dont use those sensors anyway. I am considering to discharge the band, and remove the sensors on the back, and te plastic holding it, then seal it with epoxy. the goal is to make the band thinner by doing this. Does somebody know if it will still work (without the sensor data, ofcourse). Or will it just be dead when the sensor pcb is not present?
