Kacey Musgraves performs "Pageant Material" at Farm Aid's 30th anniversary concert at FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in downtown Chicago, Illinois, on September 19.

Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Farm Aid's performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They've raised their voices to help — what can you do?

IDK..I think she IS pageant material! She's cute as a bug! She has some co-writers but she does some great songs!

Kacey is an excellent singer. I have a strong preference for her early material. I think she should stick closer to her original style but I understand artists want to grow.

Why is she and some of her band just strumming air and not actually playing the guitar? Does nobody else notice this? Yes they have picks but the strings arent moving; when you play an instrument the strings vibrate y'all.
