Thanks for the comparison, time to replace the 8 plus which I used for 5 yrs. I couldn’t care less of cosmetics, speed, gestures etc. apple keeps making silly UX changes that don’t add up to a hill of beans, and all the bloatware and spyware, that and the “bricking” strategy, along with not being able to replace the battery with a snap pisses me off. I had several Motorolas where the battery just popped out the back, put in a full one and go. I’ve replaced 3 iphone batteries, the 5c, SE, and 7, alll not at all hard to do. I need battery life and survivability of a drop. I miss the headphone jack.
