This worked great. Was trying to remove a Twin Famicom adaptor from the plate and because it was such a large bottom layer it was completely stuck. Running it under the hot tap for about 30 seconds and it came off super easy. Thanks for the tip.

Thank you. I cut my hand 3 times trying to remove some skeletons from my build plate. There was no room for me to slide the scraper into thier bases and so I slipped and cut three fingers in 10 ish minutes. I was able to remove all of them using the hot water technique . So thank you 👍 you saved my day

I've been doing the complete opposite and throwing the whole build plate in the freezer for 30 minutes. Takes a bit longer but I don't even need to use the scrapper. They just tap off with a slight knock. It's great for those stubbon prints regardless of size.

I love you guy
you just save me, I mistake the raft and it was so thick that it stick to the plate.

Holy crap how sceptical I was and how amazingly it worked. I hurt my goddamn finger as I was trying to seperate a very stubborn print. And lo and behold. Pour some hot water and the freaking thing comes off like it was butter.

I used a dremel butane torch to heat my build plate and it worked great. As the weather has been getting cooler I've been shattering a lot of small parts when trying to remove them. Crazy that it took me a few weeks to figure out what was going on.

Nice. People it does work. Downside for me is I have a very large resin printer so it takes a whole lot of boiling water. Would be nice if they made a build plate that had a built in heating element for doing this.

Such a great tip! I was strugling with some printings and just found your video, it literally helped to unmount those stubborn prints out of the plate with just hot water in the plate.
Thank you!!

Where do you 'see' these images? Like if you were reading a book and the song came on do you see it over the words is it as if you were looking at a tv screen. Or is it as if you are 'imagining' the colours. I find this quite hard to understand but fascinating!

what do you do with the contaminated water after?

THANKS A BUNCH. Used this last night printed a solid puck about 1.5" diameter flat to the plate and it popped right off with some hotish water.

Good tip.
Printing miniature bases is a real PITA when it's nearly impossible to scrape them off and printing on supports means it isn't perfectly flat.

does the resin have to be water based for this to work?
