I think this setup is totally fine for easy climbing where you’re taking very few falls. I don’t even use the chest harness. I think there’s something to be said for how clean and simple the setup is. But this is for climbs where I’m treating it like a free solo just doing easy routes over and over.

Would you use this same technique if working a project on the side of el cap? Or double the micro?

Have you taken any hard falls on juts one micro traction?
I’m looking to buy one for rope solo but not sure if I should invest in 2 of them

Sorry to be a hater, but while this works, this is a pretty bad setup. My top concern is only having one device that can slip.. also the teeth on the micro can de-sheath a rope.
