Hello, I just ran across your channel, thank you for your help. I just went to a Bangkok Bank in Pattaya to deposit two cashier checks from my bank account in America, hoping it would be an easy process. She informed me it would take one month maybe two . Made me a little nervous but after hearing you from experience I feel a little better about it. Thanks!

Checks can be deposited in Thai bank but it’s not painless.. 8-12 weeks .. bunch of paperwork .. best to avoid if at all possible

I deposit a BoA check every 6 months at SCB I have been doing this for year's. It takes less than 6 weeks to clear

I was able to deposit a foreign check at Bangkok Bank. It did take about 12 weeks to clear.

I have tried to deposit Insurance cheques from an Insurance Company in the UK and both Kasikorn bank and Krung Thai bank refuse to take them
