TRANSFORMERS x FRANKENSTEIN Frankentron Collab Review

Transformers has collaborated with Universal Monsters to give us Frankentron, a transforming robot version of Frankenstein’s monster who becomes a tank straight from a mad scientist’s laboratory. Captain Kyle checks out this Decepticon creature to see if he can shamble his way into your collection.

Frankenstein’s monster did actually appear in the original Transformers cartoon, though he was on television. In the episode “Autobot Spike,” the movie was being shown to a mind-transferred Spike Witwicky, who was now in a robotic body that was apparently made from spare parts. So, this Universal Monsters collaboration makes some sense. This figure is a retool and repaint of Siege Impactor and comes with electricity-style blast effects. Love this figure, I do however wish he had wrist swivels or the hands were posed in the original position at worse.

@ToySpotlite In tank mode, the cannon connects to the arm via posts on each side of the cannon/antenna.

They should do the invisible man since they stopped putting the plastic window on the package. Just buy an empty box with the figure stolen
