My 2nd vehicle i owned was a 87 trooper with a 4 cyl, 4x4, 5 speed, the memories i have with that vehicle are some of the best in my life. I was 17 years old at the time and my friends and i went everywhere in the trooper, i mean everywhere places that other 4x4s got stuck or couldn't go the trooper would make it, they are tough as nails and seemed to be bulletproof.
I am now 41 yo living in Dallas Tx and would love to find another one to make a small project where i can use kind of like and overland vehicle, slash camper to go visit family in Mexico.

Those older Isuzu troopers and the 80s Toyota Land Cruiser is the best looking suvs ever .and the 4runners

Very nice. I picked up a '95 Trooper from California last month. Drove it 3000+ miles back to the Ohio Valley. (did a lot of sightseeing). She's got 73, 000 miles on her, has a pristine interior, and the original Michelin tires will last for another 5k for sure. 95 -year old lady kept it garaged and only used it to go grocery shopping...never used the A/C nor the cassette radio. I want to remove the 60 part of the 60/40 rear seats, put in a sleeping platform. Then omg....so many other camping comforts. Bet ya miss the old Trooper, eh?

I read somewhere the o2 lite comes on after so many miles there is a switch marked A/B you just simply flip it and the lite goes out till the next time the predesignated mileage is reached

My dad had a trooper something like this but it was like a tan color and it had a bunch of rust on it and it had different tires but it was automatic and the engine the sound of it sounded like my dad's trooper
