AEV Chevy Colorado ZR2 Snorkel Install

We recently launched our Snorkel Kit for the 2015+ Chevy Colorado. Here is a brief video of an install performed on a ZR2 at our shop. All hardware and templates are provided, just supply the tools and labor and you will have a cooler and cleaner supply of air for your Colorado.

Two questions: what is the make/model on that snorkel? does the air intake just come in from the wheel well? No wonder I am always replacing the filter on my 2.8

I can only have the snorkel with the stock airbox or can I use a cold air intake with the snorkel?

American Expedition Vehicles will this help increase water crossing depth? If so any idea how deep is safe to cross with the snorkel installed? I understand it's a secondary purpose to the snorkel kit but we have some deep water in my area...

Looks great. Is this a snorkel for water crossings, or for dust and dirt? I think their is an important difference we need o know.

Will this require a tune in the turbo diesel engines? I had a petrol turbo engine and had to do a tune after I installed a snorkel setup.

How about making a shorter version just above the top of the fender? Something like the Rugged Ridge XHD.

Ordered one for my 2018 ZR2 Colorado Diesel. Which vent is included ? Where can I find the pre filter? It rains a lot here in the winter months
