I love how the limitations of the time actually made Orlok even more unsettling with the almost stop-motion like movement which combined with his looks really made for a memorable villain.
And this music was REALLY nice :-)

This was Incredible Masterpiece for Count Orlok/Nosferatu and The Late Max Schreck (1879 - 1936) did a Legendary Performance Bringing This German Version of Count Dracula to Life.

The music and film complement each other so perfectly. (As was intended, no doubt, based on the track's title.) I've listened to this track dozens of times on the excellent Itinerant album (available on Spotify and Amazon and other musicky-type places no doubt) but paired with "Nosferatu" it only heightens the haunting sense of unease. Such a highlight of my day, can't wait to explore new (and very old!) fantastical places with Algal's wonderful music.
