Aaron deserves so much praise. He has been doing so much for the community, and his dev blog has been extremely successful for both sides of the debate. I think he is doing a wonderful job as being the head developer for Overwatch/Blizzard. I hope he is doing well, and doesn't consider leaving the company. He is testing new grounds, and should be praised for how well this game has progressed. Congrats, Aaron Keller. Much love to you

As flats mentioned, I legitimately think an overwatch tv show is the best thing the devs can do. People who don’t play ow or have never played it probably won’t care about 6v6 or 5v5, but if they get interested in the show then they’ll definitely try the game out.

The game is also free, so there’s no barrier to entry. I think it’ll give new life to overwatch’s lore side of things while also potentially making overwatch comics, cinematics, etc more frequent. Overwatch as an IP just has so much more potential beyond video games

say what you want about OW and Blizzard, at the very least let's give credit to Alec and Aaron for not only giving 2 hours of their time but also answering hard questions and not restricting topics. I have faith in this team. I hope it is well placed.

One thing I liked about OW1 was the cards at the end of the game. I think it made QP way less sweaty because everyone in the lobby was given a chance to appreciate the efforts made by players on both teams. But now you're just served with "DEFEAT" when you lose. Companies are so caught up in what can be measured, but it's my belief its removing "human" elements like this that effects the morale of the community and ultimately the perception of the game.

At 27:03 when flats was the only one to catch (or at least react) to Aaron saying “11 other players” i started to chuckle

You would never see devs go into podcasts like this from other companies . Mad respect

Aaron Keller honestly deserves the world. He has put up with the worst from all sides, and yet he is still always happy to come and do these interviews. He always comes with a good head on his shoulders and answers well.

I do feel for the devs in the sense that they’ve had so many lay offs in their team which must make “small asks” like new cinematics actually a super big asks because there is no dedicated staff for it.

If bans come sombra will never be in a lobby again and I’m here for that

I have to say I really like that the dev are reaching out and talking to the community you won't find that at much of the other games where you left in the dark, this feels good and give me hope for the game

26:53 Flats and Alec noticing Aaron's freudian slip of "11 other players" and giving those looks is priceless.

Streamers mention an ow2 tv show and seeing the devs sweat bullets knowing they do NOT have the money for that

Maybe It's silly, but I preferred it back in the day when quick play lobbies used to stay open after one round, the sides would swap, and if you wanted to play 2 rounds of qp before the lobby closed you could. That with the post game cards/voting, really helped it feel more social. Of course you could drop in and out of the lobby with no penalty back then too. . . But we'd finish a round, maybe 1 or 2 people would drop on your team, and the spots would be filled. You usually got 2 rounds in with one queue time as well if you stay in the game.
