As another "Oldest" child it's WRONG for the parents to put that guilt pressure & responsibly on the oldest child ... for several reasons.. 1 reason is it damages & could destroy the relationships between siblings as they learn that they can't trust them when they need them...

I know that you have to find out what happened but you shouldn't line them up like that and get them to betray each other.. ask them 1 on 1 and then DON'T tell the guilty child who told them what
