Horrible "fact checking".

1) He said more people "trying". That's different from "illegal border crossings" which is a failed act, stopped by enforcement.
2) He claims most drugs go through areas without a border. That's different from the "90% of heroin seized ...at legal border crossings". Of course where there are more checks, there are more seizures. It's like saying 90% of speeders were caught in the speed traps designed to catch them. And second, that is only one drug. Are they cherry picking facts?

#1&#2 apples to oranges.

3) Fence/wall/barrier - both sides guilty of using semantics to appease their respective base.
4) Almost there on that one. Tariffs wouldn't be Mexico paying, it would be the American people. Consumers always pay the cost of a tariff (plus the added taxes for its administration!) If total tariffs go down the net effect could result in increased government revenue which would cover the cost. That would be indirect for sure.
5) Who cares? The opposition opposes. Up next, remainers in the UK oppose May's deal. Surprise, surprise.

The music and the cuts at the end really dispel any semblance of objective journalism on this one. I was hoping for an honest fact-check. The competency was low to begin with, but the tone at the end cements it. Just give us the news and analysis as best you can and let us make up our own minds, thank you!
