It looks better than the Galaxy Fold but the Mate X will be much more prone to scratches on the screen.

What if you use it in the folded mode for the majority of the time you use it. Will half of the screen half of the screen be a different shade in color due to screen burn in?

The only problem with this phone may be the screen getting too scratched since it is softer than glass and it is exposed all the time. If I judge by my previous phone cases, which I have used, the Mate X may even become unusable after some time, due to this wear.

Edit: I'm talking solely about the design concerning *future* devices. Of course we need some innovations material-wise to improve the scratch resistance. But overall one whole screen makes more sense than two seperate ones imo.

The Mate X looks so... snazzy. That's just the word that comes to mind. Slim (considering it's a foldable), powerful, and sleek. I'm obviously not the target market, but I wish I could get a hands on as well!
